Why this site exists

Our minds aren’t just storage units—they’re idea machines. Every day, I find myself generating new insights about sales strategy, technical storytelling, leadership, cybersecurity trends, and how the business world actually works. But thoughts are fleeting. Without a system to capture and organize them, it’s hard to refine or build on them in a meaningful way.

This site is my Second Brain (shoutout to 'Tiago Forte'). It’s where I store, structure, and expand my thoughts as I navigate the path from senior sales engineer to sales and executive leadership.

I created this blog to document what I’m learning, challenge my own thinking, and give others a behind-the-scenes look at how I approach sales engineering, GTM strategy, leadership, and tech. Writing helps me distill signal from noise—and I hope it helps others do the same.

What I Do

I’m a senior sales engineer at SimSpace, where I work with Fortune 500s, federal agencies, critical infrastructure, and SLED sectors to help them stress-test and scale their cybersecurity programs.

I live at the intersection of technical depth and business impact—translating complex technologies into real outcomes, influencing large-scale deals, and collaborating with sales, product, and engineering to move the needle. I care about outcomes, not activity.

But that’s only part of the story.

I’m on the path from senior SE to director, VP, and beyond from there. This site is where I sharpen the thinking required to get there. I want to lead not just because of experience—but because I’ve taken the time to reflect, synthesize, and operate from first principles.
